An independent single malt from Dailuaine on Speyside, bottled by Elixir Distillers in its The Single Malts of Scotland series. It was distilled on 17 January 2007 and bottled on 3 January 2024, after 16 years in a Bourbon hogshead. The distillery seldom issues its own bottlings.
This is a cask strength release of 53.5%, with 181 bottles filled.
The nose brings beeswax, fresh fruit, rosemary and grasses. The palate is soft and warm, with currants, honey, chocolate and peach, leading to a long, fairly dry finish with a touch of oak.
