Dailuaine – 18 Years Old 2008 Infrequent Flyers

This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, distilled in 2008. The distillery's weighty, meaty spirit mostly goes into blends, so a single cask release is a rare thing to find. It was finished in a single hogshead that previously held Oloroso sherry, a good match for the rich, robust character of the spirit. Alistair Walker bottled it for his Infrequent Flyers Collection at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
