Dailuaine – 2009 13 Years The Whisky Trail (70cl, 52.9%)

This is a 13 year old Dailuaine single malt, an independent bottling from the Whisky Trail series by Elixir Distillers. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 52.9%. The whisky was distilled on 5 October 2009 and bottled on 8 February 2023. The nose offers apple, vanilla, malt and hazelnuts. The palate opens with force, bringing lemon, vanilla, raisins, toffee, oak and spice. The finish is medium in length, with malt and oak.
