A twelve-year-old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, bottled in 2024 by The Single Malts of Scotland at 48%. It is a small batch drawn from four casks of whisky distilled in 2011, made up of new oak barrel, sherry hogshead and sherry butt. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The new oak adds vanilla and a fresh wood note, while the sherry casks bring sweetness, dried fruit and warm spice. On the nose there are dark fruit and raisins with sherry spice, vanilla and malt. The palate is rich with sherry sweetness, dried fruit, spice and nuts, and the finish is medium to long, warm and fruity, with spicy oak.
