This Dailuaine Small Batch is a 10 year old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 at 48% for The Single Malts of Scotland. It comes in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour.
It was made from four previously used bourbon hogsheads. Their restrained influence leaves room for a waxy, fruity and malty character, with creamy sweetness and an oily texture.
The nose offers ripe apple and banana with honey and vanilla, a light citrus note, malt and wax. On the palate, banana and malt meet butterscotch and caramel, with a waxy texture and fine vanilla. The finish is long, with sweet malt and vanilla, then light oak and a dry close.
