This is a 7 year old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Provenance range from a single sherry cask. The spirit was distilled in April 2008 and bottled in March 2016 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sherried, with caramelised fruit, gentle sweet spice and barley. The palate is oily and warmly spiced, with macerated summer fruit, raisin and a biscuit note. The finish stays spiced, with vanilla fudge, home baking and honey.
