Dailuaine – 7 Years Single Minded Douglas Laing (70cl)

This is a seven-year-old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Single Minded series, in a 70cl bottle. The name Dailuaine is Gaelic for green valley. The distillery sits in the small village of Carron, near Aberlour, and was founded by William Mackenzie in 1851. It was rebuilt completely after fires in 1917 and 1959. Much of its output goes into blends, so single malt bottlings from independent bottlers are a way to taste its soft Speyside character.
