Dalmore 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky and the flagship of the Dalmore range.
It begins in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak. After about nine years, half of the spirit moves into Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, and the two parts are married after twelve years.
The nose shows orange zest, dark chocolate, raisins and clove. The palate brings coffee, toffee, cinnamon, dried fruit and roasted nuts, and the finish is long, soft and spicy with sherry influence.
