This Dalmore is a 20 year old Highland single malt from the Old Malt Cask series, bottled by Hunter Laing as a single cask at 50% ABV. It was distilled in January 1990 and bottled in April 2010, with an outturn of 455 bottles.
The whisky matured in a refill butt and was then finished in an Amontillado sherry cask. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is described as sweet sherry with dried fruit, spice and a touch of oak. The palate brings dark chocolate, nuts and gentle spice, and the finish is long and warming.
