Dalmore 45 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It was created by Richard Paterson, the master distiller, and begins its maturation in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak.
The whisky then moves into port pipes from the Graham's Port Colheita reserve, where it spends five years. Afterwards it is blended again and given a final maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The result is described as generous, soft and complex.
