This is a 10 year old Dalmunach single malt from Speyside, selected and bottled by Murray McDavid in its Benchmark range. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026. It matured for just under four years in 110-litre casks from Koval Distillery, small American oak casks that had held rye whiskey. The nose is buttery malt and sweet cereal with cream and toffee. The palate has spiced apple and crisp pastry with grassy touches. The finish brings floral notes and lively citrus, ending in long, sweet oak spice.
