Dalmunach – 2015-2023 7 Year Old Duncan Taylor Octave Cask (70cl, 55.2%)

This is a single cask Dalmunach from Speyside, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023 at seven years old by Duncan Taylor for their Octave Cask range. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.2%, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky began in a standard cask and was then finished in an octave. Octaves are made by taking apart a 500-litre sherry butt and rebuilding it as eight much smaller casks. This one produced 87 bottles.
