Dalmunach 9 Year Old James Eadie is a small-batch single malt from the Dalmunach distillery in Speyside, bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie. Only 1,426 bottles were produced.
It was distilled on 11 October 2016 and matured for nine years, including a 51-month finish in refill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, before bottling in 2026. It is non-chill-filtered, of natural colour and bottled at 46%.
The nose is buttered popcorn, roasted cumin, raisins and malt loaf, with a little caramel and pecan. The palate has buttery digestive biscuits, salted caramel wafer, sugared almonds and a hint of spice. The finish brings red apples, cinnamon buns and a touch of pepper.
