This is a single cask Dalmunach from Speyside, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 as a 9 year old by Rare Find. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.6%, non-chill filtered and at natural colour, and only 126 bottles were filled.
The whisky spent its final 17 months in a first-fill Oloroso sherry quarter cask.
The nose has lemon sponge, vanilla custard, toffee, hedgerow berries and fresh ginger. On the palate, apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants lead, with toffee, chocolate walnut and gingerbread behind. The finish is long and fruity, with a developing citrus note.
