Dalriada Blend (70cl, 40%)

Dalriada is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from roughly 37% single malt and 63% grain whisky. A little over half of the malt in the blend is a 12 year old Speyside malt, and its Speyside character should be recognisable in the aroma despite the blend. The nose offers malt, barley, vanilla, dried fruit, earth and spices. On the palate it is creamy, with barley and sherry notes coming through early alongside crisp grain.
