Darkness 8 Years Old is an eight-year-old whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47.8% ABV.
The nose is of candied orange peel, chocolate-coated peanuts, warming cooking spices and small notes of dried cherry. On the palate come Amaretti biscuits, lightly toasted notes and rich raisins, with a lingering touch of oak. The finish is slightly oily with a little smoke, and hints of chocolate stay on.
