Deanston 10 Year Old is a single malt first released as a travel retail exclusive. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in casks that previously held red wine from Bordeaux, and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose is fragrant and fruity, with peach, apple crumble and lemon tart. The palate is full and creamy, with red fruits, damson jam and dark cherries. The finish is short and sweet, with dark chocolate lingering in the aftertaste.
