Deanston 12 Year Old Oloroso Cask Matured is a Highland single malt aged only in Oloroso sherry casks. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled twelve years later at its natural cask strength of 52.7%.
The edition is limited to 13,227 bottles.
The nose is dry and nutty, with walnut, toasted oak and spice. Honey, dark dried fruits and clove mark the palate, with cinnamon and candied orange peel emerging along the way. The finish is long, gently spiced and sherried, with hazelnut and raisin.
