Deanston 12 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from the Classic Deanston range, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The range is matured predominantly in Bourbon casks.
The nose brings summer hay, malted cereal, creamy toffee and honeyed heather, with sweet oak and barley sugar behind. On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with hints of fruit, honeyed malt spice and soft vanilla.
The finish is crisp, with a tingle of cloves that lingers and then fades gently.
