Deanston 15 Year Old is a single malt finished in Marsala wine casks, bottled at 55.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 1308 bottles were released.
The whisky spent almost 14 years in refill casks that had previously held whisky, before being moved to Marsala wine casks in 2016.
On the nose are vanilla blossom, mango, buttered bread, blueberries and quince. The palate offers milk chocolate, whipped cream, marzipan, ginger, fudge and lemon peel. The finish is lastingly soft and buttery, with floral malt and strawberry.
