Deanston 15 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish is a Highland single malt matured for 15 years, then finished in casks that previously held tequila. It is bottled at 52.5% ABV, or 105 proof, in a 70cl bottle.
The tequila finish brings agave notes to the honeyed malt character of the whisky.
On the palate it is described as honeyed and malty, with orchard fruit, a gentle agave brightness and warm oak spice. The finish is long, layered and lightly peppery.
