This is a 16 year old Highland single malt from Deanston Distillery, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh. It was distilled in October 2008.
The whisky was first filled into a refill barrel, then moved into a second fill ex-Staoisha Oloroso quarter cask to finish its maturation. The finish adds a note of smoke to what is otherwise a fruity, sweet Highland malt.
It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
