An 18 year old Highland single malt from Deanston Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is housed in a former cotton mill on the banks of the River Teith.
The nose is vanilla pod, soft oak and golden honey. The palate is rich and warming, with toffee, barley sugar and sweet citrus peel, then soft spice in the middle with nutmeg and clove. The finish is long, clean and slightly dry, leaving gentle malt, caramel and toasted almond.
