This is a 20 year old single malt from Deanston, bottled for The Single Cask series. It was distilled on 10 December 1997 and matured in a single bourbon barrel until it was bottled on 19 February 2018. The cask gave 251 bottles.
It is a rich, fairly fleshy Deanston. The nose opens with waxy notes, clear oak and subtle pepper and citrus. The palate is elegant and layered, with waxy, fruity oranges and limes and slightly salty edges that run from start to end.
