This Deanston is a single cask Highland single malt, distilled in 2000 and bottled in May 2019 at 18 years old and 50% ABV. It was released by Ian MacLeod in the Chieftain's series, with an outturn of 208 bottles.
After maturing in cask 92701, the whisky was finished in a red wine cask.
Malt, red fruit, berries, vanilla, oak spice and wine wood are typical of its character.
