This is a 16-year-old Deanston single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2025 for The Single Malts of Scotland, the Elixir Distillers range. It comes from a bourbon barrel and is bottled at cask strength, 53.4%, in a 70cl bottle.
Deanston was once a cotton mill, was founded in 1965 and uses only Scottish barley from the region.
The notes are of warm vanilla and oak, with honey sweetness, malt, fresh apple, citrus peel and caramel pastry.
