This is a single cask Deanston, an 11 year old Highland single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 by Brave New Spirits. It belongs to their Rebels Guerilla Casks series, which bottles only whiskies that have not matured in ex-bourbon or Oloroso sherry casks.
This one was matured in a first fill Merlot wine barrique, which gave the unpeated malt a coppery tinge. It was bottled at 54.8% abv in a 70cl bottle, and the cask yielded 312 bottles.
