This is an 11-year-old Deanston, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 at 49.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first fill PX quarter cask.
The nose is a classic sherried one of toasted malt loaf, rum-soaked raisins and dried herbs. The palate is sweeter than the nose suggests, with chocolate-coated strawberries, brown sugar and candied ginger. On the finish, liquorice, fennel and anise add warmth to a treacle toffee sweetness that lingers for a long time.
