Deanston Chronicles Edition 3 is the third release in the Chronicles series from the Highland distillery. It is a single malt bottled at 52.8% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Four casks make up the whole: a Canasta sherry cask (1974) as the base, a Manzanilla sherry cask (1993), a French Pedro Ximénez cask (2002) and a rum cask (2013).
Rich sherry, dark oak and caramel meet salty sea air and tropical spice on the nose and palate. The texture is full and waxy, and the colour is a deep golden amber.
