Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength is a 2023 edition single malt bottled at 58.5%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose shows strong oak notes with rich spices, sugared fruit salad and vanilla custard. On the palate there is caramel with fruity notes and a waxy Highland character of heather honeycomb and butterscotch.
The finish is warm, soft and spicy-sweet, with honeycomb and citrus fruit.
