Deanston Virgin Oak is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It was first matured in traditional oak casks, then given a final period of ageing in brand-new American virgin oak barrels. It is bottled at 46.3% and is non-chill-filtered. The nose is typically described as fresh citrus and creamy vanilla with a faint touch of smoke. The palate offers sweet toffee, warming spice and soft oak tannins, with herbal notes and nutmeg developing in the glass. The finish is clean and medium in length, with toasted wood and zesty orange.
