Inchmurrin 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond Distillery, bottled independently by Decadent Drinks for its Decadent Drams collection at 53%.
It marries two vintages that matured separately, one in a second-fill bourbon barrel and one in a first-fill sherry hogshead. The outturn was 234 bottles.
The nose brings ripe mango, dried tropical fruit, dark berries and floral honey. The palate is rich and oily, with honeyed malt, buttery toast, soft wax and warming spice. The finish is long, with lingering tropical fruit, gentle spice and an oily texture.
