This is a Speyside single malt from Cragganmore, distilled in 1989 and bottled independently in 2025 as Chapter Twenty Four of Decadent Drinks' Whiskyland series. It spent all 36 years in a refill hogshead and was bottled at 51.8% ABV, with 158 bottles produced.
The nose offers honeycomb, beeswax, dried wildflowers and floral pollen with polished oak, hay and delicate nutty notes. The palate is rich and waxy, with mature honey, buttery malt, gentle oak spice and subtle herbal and resinous notes. The finish is long and warming, with honeyed sweetness, polished oak and a softly drying character.
