Den Hool Meppen 2018 is a Dutch single malt, distilled in 2018 and matured for seven years. It comes from a small-scale distillery in the Netherlands.
The whisky is fruity and malty, with light influence from the oak. On the nose there are apple, pear and light citrus, with honey, grain, vanilla and a hint of spice. The palate is round, with soft malt, ripe apple and light caramel, and a touch of spice and wood.
The finish is medium in length and warm, with honey, light spice and soft oak slowly fading.
