Depaz Rhum Agricole Blanc Cuvée De La Montagne (70cl, 45%)

An agricole rum from Depaz, made on the slopes of Mount Pelée in Martinique from pure sugar cane juice, without molasses. It is briefly refined in stainless steel to preserve its brightness and purity. On the nose it opens with vegetal notes of cut grass and fresh cane, with slightly citrus and floral hints. On the palate it is lively and clean, with a slender but dense body, a savoury persistence and a mineral finesse typical of the mountain slopes. It can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, and also with fish, spicy dishes or Creole cooking.
