Dewar's 12 Year Old is a blended whisky in a 20cl bottle, at 40% ABV.
Choice malt and grain whiskies are aged separately in oak casks for a minimum of twelve years. Master blender Stephanie Macleod then blends them together and returns the blend to oak casks for a second period of ageing. This extra step is what sets Dewar's apart from most whiskies, which are aged only once.
It is described as a very smooth whisky.
