Dewar's 12 Year Old The Ancestor (70cl, 40%)

Dewar's 12 Year Old The Ancestor is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Aberfeldy single malt forms its heart, and every whisky in the blend is at least 12 years old, drawn from selected parts of Scotland. After blending, the whisky rests further in special oak casks so the components marry. Each bottle is numbered. The colour is a deep amber-gold. The nose has raisin and a hint of ripe fruit, the taste is richly fruity and sweet with oak, and the finish is warm and pleasant.
