Dewar's 8 Caribbean Smooth is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It spends eight years maturing in bourbon casks before a finishing period in Caribbean rum casks, which gives the whisky sweeter, fruitier notes.
The nose is layered, with sweet vanilla and a light spiciness. On the palate there are caramel, vanilla and gentle spice, in a balanced and flavoursome whisky.
