Dewar's Portuguese Smooth is an 8 year old blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, and the third release in the Dewar's Cask Series. It was matured in port wine casks, and it is meant to celebrate both Portugal and Scotland, bringing together the lively, colourful flavours of each country.
It is the first time Dewar's has brought this finishing method to a double aged blend. The whisky is described as rich and full-bodied, as well as soft and approachable.
