This is a white Burgundy made entirely from Chardonnay, from three parcels in the lower part of the commune of Meursault: Les Pellans, Les Millerands and Les Murgers de Limozin. The vines were planted in 1950 and 2001, on deep soils of clay, limestone and sand, and the domaine has been converting to organic farming since 2015.
The wine is fermented in oak with regular lees stirring, then aged 12 months on its lees in used 228 and 300 litre casks. It is lightly fined but not filtered.
It is light gold, with white peach, apricot and wild flowers on the nose. The palate has richness and minerality, with freshness and precision, and a creamy undertone.
