Douglas Laing Double Barrel India & Scotland (50%)

A blended malt from Douglas Laing's Double Barrel series, bringing together single malts from India and Scotland in a 50% ABV bottling. Four single casks went into it: two Indian malts with bright citrus and deep wood notes, and two Scottish malts that are markedly peaty and smoky. The casks were married and stored together before bottling, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring. The outturn is 2,000 bottles. The label carries a hand-drawn illustration of the Royal Bengal tiger for India and the unicorn for Scotland.
