Douglas Laing Old Particular Islay 'Balance' 14 Year Old 2005 Spiritualist Series

Islay 'Balance' is the first release in Douglas Laing's Old Particular Spiritualist Series, which follows the Elements Collection. It is a single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery. The whisky was distilled in November 2005 and matured for 14 years in a refill hogshead. It was bottled in April 2020 at natural cask strength, with 325 bottles produced. It is described as an interplay of coastal character, smoky depth and refined cask influence.
