A 12-year-old Auchroisk from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range, part of its Wine Cask Collection. It was distilled in 2012, finished in a tawny port cask from Portugal and bottled in 2025 at 48.4%. The cask yielded 296 bottles.
The nose offers juicy red fruit, nutmeg, clove and dark chocolate. On the palate come figs, sweet pastry, marzipan and orange peel with spicy oak. The long finish has ripe cherries and raisins, followed by warming spice and burnt orange peel.
