Scallywag 10 Years Old is a Speyside blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a small batch release that sits alongside the core Scallywag as an ongoing offering.
The Speyside single malts in the blend are matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, giving a rich, fruity and dark chocolate character.
Chocolate and mocha lead the nose, with allspice. Dark chocolate, zesty orange and more mocha follow on the palate, and the long finish brings macerated dark fruits and spice.
