Scallywag Singapore Anniversary 60 Edition is a Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Douglas Laing, a limited release marking Singapore's 60th anniversary. Its SG60 commemorative label pays tribute to the country's heritage.
It is made from Speyside single malts matured in sherry casks, and bottled at a cask strength of 55.4% ABV. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is richly sherried, with raisins, dried figs, dark chocolate, orange peel and baking spices. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, Christmas cake, dark fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted almonds and a hint of espresso. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice, cocoa, dried fruit and sweet sherry.
