Dumbarton – 21 Year Old (70cl, 58.6%)

This is a 21 year old single grain whisky from Dumbarton, a Lowland distillery that has since closed. Claxton's bottled it at full cask strength of 58.6% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is neither chill filtered nor coloured, passing from the cask to the bottle through only a fine-mesh filter that removes cask residue. Dumbarton stopped production in 2002, and the last sign of the distillery was demolished in 2017.
