Duncan Taylor Bunnahabhain 7 Year Old Single Cask 2014 (70cl, 53.7%)

This is a 7 year old single cask Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled by Duncan Taylor at a natural cask strength of 53.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2014. The whisky comes from a single oak cask and is bottled without chill filtration or colouring. The nose brings sea spray, green apples and sweet malt, with a touch of vanilla and light oak spice. On the palate it is bright and lively, with salted caramel, citrus zest and a gentle maritime brininess. The finish is medium to long, with fresh barley, soft spice and a hint of sea air.
