Eden Mill – The Guard Bridge Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

The Guard Bridge is a blended malt from Eden Mill, bringing together single malts from the Highlands and Lowlands. It is finished in casks that previously held Eden Mill single malt, and whisky from the original Eden Mill distillery is part of the blend. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The name comes from the six-arched Guard Bridge, built in the 15th century to link St Andrews with the trading port of Guardbridge. Head Distiller Scott Ferguson chose and married the malts. The nose offers lavender, lilac and summer grass. On the palate come green apple, pineapple, cinnamon and cardamom, with a touch of white pepper. The finish is medium in length, with gentle fruit, flowers, cardamom and orange blossom.
