This is a ten-year-old Edradour whisky from the 2016 vintage, released as a small batch after maturation in Sauternes casks.
The sweet wine casks shape the character here. On the nose, honey and soft vanilla mix with floral touches and ripe stone fruit. The palate is creamy, with intense marmalade notes and the gentle sweetness of sun-ripened apricots.
The finish is long, sweet and fruity, fading with a subtle, refined wood spice.
