Edradour 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt distilled in 2011 and matured in eight first fill Barbaresco hogsheads, wine casks from Italy's Piedmont region. It was bottled in July 2023, with an outturn of 2,921 bottles.
This release succeeds the discontinued SFTC (Straight From The Cask) series as Edradour's wine cask expression.
The Barbaresco casks bring red berries, dark cherries and soft tannins to Edradour's rich, oily spirit, with warming spice and malt depth alongside.
